We grow or we shrink in our faith according to our view of Christ. Sometimes we don’t give enough thought to who Christ is in relationship to God, creation, and us. Christ stepped into a time when there was a hazy notion of divine beings. And according to Paul, when Christ entered people saw God. The invisible became visible. You can leave today with a greater peace and contentment if you are able to grasp Paul’s explanation of who Christ is.

The young Colossian church was experiencing this as clever teachers were telling them Christ was not enough. As these false teachers added to the gospel, they were effectively diminishing who Christ was and what He did. The Colossians were left wondering if Christ really was enough. It was a first-century misinformation campaign. Clever teachers are offering quick answers to life's greatest challenges. Are we missing out or is Christ truly enough?
