At some point, most Christians wrestle with questions about God's will.

 

These questions often arise when we have to make critical decisions about school, marriage, or our vocation. Being unsure of what God expects and how we fit into His plan can often cause feelings of paralysis: what if you make the wrong choice? So what is His will?

We have all asked the question, "What is my purpose?” We want to know what we are to do with our lives, right? Is there one purpose? Are there many purposes? Who am I to marry? Am I supposed to get married or be single? What career path should I take? There are so many questions, but finding the will of God really boils down to two great challenges. We must lose ourselves and find ourselves.

How do we do the will of God? This is the lens through which we see our mission and vision for the future ministry of our church. We have an amazing legacy, but legacy does not matter without a future.

 

Through this message, Dan's hope is that we see how vital vision is in doing the will of God, whether it be collectively or personally.
